Client Segmentation: Show the Right Answer to the Right Buyer

A SaaS prospect asks "how much" and an enterprise buyer asks "do you support SOC 2." Same widget, very different jobs. Next Day Sales handles this with personas and dynamic CTAs — both wired into the Answer Engine.

    Personas

Personas are tags you attach to pages in your site. When the Answer Engine answers a question, it knows which persona context the visitor is in based on the source page they're viewing.

Example: /for-agencies is tagged agency, /for-in-house is tagged inhouse. The Answer Engine prefers content chunks tagged with the same persona when ranking citations.

    Dynamic CTAs

Each persona can have its own capture message:

    • Agency persona: "Want a demo of the Agency tier? Drop your details."
    • In-house persona: "Want to try Starter free? Let's get you set up."

You configure these in Site → Rep settings → Dynamic CTAs.

    Source-page context

Even without explicit personas, the widget uses source_page to bias answers. A visitor asking from your pricing page gets pricing-adjacent citations; one asking from a feature page gets feature-adjacent context.

    Putting it together

    1. Tag your top 5–10 pages by persona (takes 10 minutes)
    2. Write a CTA per persona (one sentence each)
    3. Let the Answer Engine route the rest

Segmentation used to require building separate landing pages, separate forms, and separate routing logic. With the Answer Engine it's three tags and three sentences.

    Next step

Turn what you just read into something running on the site.

The Rep installs the conversion mechanics this post describes — question capture, grounded answers, click-to-call, booking and lead capture — and measures every one of them.
