Connect Google Search Console
Each site can connect its own Google Search Console (GSC) property. Once connected, NDS pulls query, page, and impression data to power:
- Insights — rising queries, declining pages, CTR opportunities
- FAQ seeding — the Answer Engine pre-loads suggested FAQs from your top GSC questions
- Content Studio briefs — every new post can pull from real GSC query data
Connecting
- Open the site → Connectors → Google Search Console
- Click Connect Google account and sign in with the account that owns the GSC property
- Pick the property that matches the site domain
- Done — the first sync runs immediately and then daily
What we read
Read-only access to:
- Search Analytics (queries, pages, clicks, impressions, position)
- Verified site list (to match the right property)
We never write or modify anything in your GSC.
Disconnecting
Same screen → Disconnect. You can revoke at any time from your Google Account permissions page as well.
Troubleshooting
- Property not listed? The signed-in Google account must have at least "Restricted" access on that property
- No data yet? New GSC properties take 2–3 days to populate; we'll fetch as soon as data exists
- Stale data? Sync runs daily. Click Sync now to force a fetch.
