Workspace and site roles
Who can do what at the workspace level and per site, and how personal account settings differ.
·1 min read
Access works at two levels.
- Workspace members — owner, admin, editor and viewer. Owners and admins manage billing, plan, members and workspace-wide defaults.
- Site collaborators — added per site, so a client or freelancer can see and work on one site without access to the rest of the workspace.
Personal vs workspace settings
- Account (
/account) is yours: profile, email, password and your own notification preferences. It follows you between workspaces. - Settings (
/settings) is the workspace: branding, members, billing, report defaults.
Changing something in Account never changes what other people in the workspace see.
