Billing FAQ
Quick answers to the most common billing questions.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) via Stripe. Agency customers can also request manual invoice billing (PO numbers, bank transfer) from Settings → Billing.
When am I charged?
You're charged immediately when you subscribe, then on the same date each month (or year for annual plans). If that date doesn't exist in a shorter month, you're charged on the last day.
Can I get an invoice?
Yes. Go to Settings → Billing → Manage Subscription to access the Stripe customer portal where you can download invoices for any past payment.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes — every paid plan can be billed annually, saving roughly 17% versus monthly. Toggle the billing interval on the Pricing page or in Settings → Billing.
Can I switch between monthly and annual?
Yes, at any time. Stripe automatically prorates the change.
How does Agency pricing work?
The Agency plan includes 3 client sites at Starter capacity for $199/mo. You can:
- Add more sites from $49/mo (graduated: $49 for sites 4–5, $35 for 6–15, $25 from 16+)
- Boost any site to Growth (+$59/mo) or Scale (+$149/mo) for more pages/searches
See Subscription Plans Explained for the full breakdown.
What happens if my payment fails?
Stripe will retry the charge a few times over the following days. If it continues to fail, your plan will be paused at the end of the billing period. You won't lose any data.
Can I get a refund?
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first payment. After that, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support.
Is my payment information secure?
Absolutely. We never see or store your card details. All payments are processed by Stripe, which is PCI Level 1 certified.
