Working through recommendations
Impact, Effort and Source labels, rollups for repeated issues, and dismissing with a reason.
·1 min read
Recommendations (/sites/{siteId}/recommendations) is the work queue for a site.
- Impact / Effort — every item is labelled so you can pick the high-impact, low-effort work first.
- Source — shows where the evidence came from: crawl, Search Console, analytics, Rep conversations or an audit.
- Rollups — when the same issue affects many pages, it appears once as a rollup with the affected URLs attached, instead of flooding the list.
Acting on one
Opening a recommendation takes you to the exact screen where it is fixed, with the item highlighted. Once handled, mark it applied so it is excluded from future scoring.
Dismissing
Dismiss with a reason (not relevant, already handled elsewhere, client declined, and so on). The reason trains later analysis for that site, so the same suggestion stops coming back.
