Reps & Conversion

Rep types and when to use each

Three Rep families — Ask, Capture and Answers — and the options inside each.

A Rep is the on-site surface that answers visitor questions and moves them to an action. Create and manage Reps under Reps on a site (/sites/{site}/reps).

There are three families. Pick the family by what the Rep should do, then pick an option for where it lives or what it collects.

Ask Rep — answer questions on the page

The full Arrive → Ask → Answer → Act experience. A visitor asks in their own words, gets a grounded answer with citations from your crawled pages, then an action. Same Rep everywhere — you only choose the placement.

    PlacementUse it when
Inline in the pageYou want a compact ask box in a specific section.
HeroIt should carry the top of the page, with eyebrow, title and subtitle.
Chatbot panelThe site wants a persistent assistant with follow-ups and a teaser bubble.
Floating buttonYou want an always-available corner button with no visual weight.
Sticky bottom barA slim, persistent prompt across every page.
Discreet nav iconThe design cannot take a floating element — reads as native site search.
Exit intentYou want one last prompt when a visitor looks like they are leaving.

See Choosing where an Ask Rep lives and Exit-intent Ask Rep.

Capture Rep — collect the enquiry

A form that lands in your Leads inbox. One family, three modes:

    • Drafted brief — chip selectors plus an auto-composed message, for enquiry-heavy services work.
    • Contact details — a configurable contact form.
    • Meeting request — preferred dates and time-of-day; you confirm by email.

Answers Rep — publish what you already answer

Your published FAQ entries as an on-page accordion, with an optional ask box on top. Two placements: an anchored block where you drop the anchor, or auto placed with a single script tag. See Auto-placed Answers Rep.

    Choosing

Start with an Ask Rep on the highest-intent template (service or product pages). Add a Capture Rep where the enquiry actually happens. Add an Answers Rep once you have enough repeat questions worth publishing.

    What about CTA-only?

CTA-only is not a type — it is a setting. On any Ask Rep, turn off the inline form under Customize → After the answer and set a call, booking link or page instead. Use this when the client already has their own enquiry form or prefers phone calls.
